Subject Leader: Mr Atkins
Purpose of study
A high-quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. It should provide opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.

Intent
Physical activity and education is a key part of learning and development and we strive to deliver the best provision possible for our pupils. In the academic year 2025-2026 we aim to work collaboratively with agencies in order to further improve our sporting provision. Our aim is to provide a wide range of opportunities so that everyone is able to access and enjoy all aspects of sport, increasing participation in sporting activites across all year groups.
